"Welcome back from Spring Break. I hope you all had a restful, relaxing week, and are ready to get back to class."

"I'd like each of you to give your presentations that I assigned before you left."

Phoebe signs in and asks for an extension. "Dr. Grissom... most of us were working on finding a cure for our poisoned classmate and didn't have time to write up a presentation. If you'd like, I can get notes from the clinic?"

Phoebe looked at him steadily and decided to be honest. "You know how we have talked about witches and the afterlife and other things in your Paranormal class? Well, everyone knows I'm a witch. What you may not know is that one of my powers is that of empathy. After a week of trying to find something to help heal Angel, and doing the spell, my empathy became overwhelmed from everyone's emotions on Friday night and I spent most of the weekend in bed, dealing with a empathic migraine."

Phoebe likes Grissom and sees no reason to be anything but honest. "Now, I have enough knowledge of my subject matter that I culd probably wing a presentation and get a passing grade. However, that would bring my grade down in your class aqnd I have too much respect for you not to give the assignment my best attempt. It's up to you sir."

She smiled. "Thank you, sir."

Phoebe looked a bit confused. "I can have it done by tomorrow, no problem. Do you want me to come to your office hours tomorrow."

Pip and Paige got up and did their report on the mating rituals of the European wolf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolves#Reproduction_and_mortality)

Bel and Allie do their presentation on the Draconian Space Jellyfish, which do elaborate dances with their tentacles to attract a mate. They are both male and female, and the dance decides which one will be the male, who then releases his sperm into space. It swims into the mouth of the female where fertilization commences.

Oh yeah, and space whales have 16 kilometer long peni.

Anders and Cally get up and do a presentation on the mating habits of woodchucks, also known as groundhogs or in some regions of the United States whistlepigs; male woodchucks will often roam out at night in search of a mate. (Cally wouldn't let Anders include his theory about vampire woodchucks in the final presentation.)

There is much stammering and red-facedness on Anders's part as he relates how woodchucks tend to mate in their second year of life in the spring right after hibernation season, although some get an earlier start. He just might be squeaking a little bit when he talks about the approximate one-month gestation period during which the male and female woodchuck live together in their den, and how the male woodchuck will leave shortly before the babies are born.

Sawyer does his bit on African Giraffes (http://www.bio.davidson.edu/people/vecase/Behavior/Spring2004/breedlove/matingsystem.html) and the fact that all male giraffe's are man whores.

Considering he doesn't know where Han is...
