Hey, everyone! You weren't in the Danger Shop today! An e-mail or other form of messaging told you to come to the shooting range. You were gonna shoot stuff!

"Okay, so, some people here might have had a crappy weekend involving betting on some losers from Carolina. Like, a lot of money. So screw it, we're gonna shoot stuff. We'll be back here next week, too, for throwing stuff. But today some people need the feel and noise of a shotgun killing a piece of paper." That explained the shotgun he was holding. "If you look carefully, you might see betting slips over the heart."

"Shoot. For. The. Heart." Fred put on some goggles and ear protection, loaded the shotgun, and shot the piece of paper right through the betting slip. And then he shot the figure on the target sheet through the crotch, which also had a betting slip, because that felt good.

"If anyone needs instruction on shooting, let me know and I'll show you. Anyone who's good, have at it. And follow the range rules so nobody dies!"

Fun at the range.

If you need to know the basics with handguns or shotguns, Fred is going to demonstrate what to do and basics of safety. Just enough to get you through class without endangering anyone's lives. But not enough to discourage anyone from the use of firearms later in life should it prove handy.

Like, say, during a bank robbery.

Know how to use a gun? Murder those pieces of paper. Destroy those betting slips. Do it for Coach.

Did they even have guns where she came from? Fred neither knew nor particularly cared. She'd figure it out if not.

Bug Fred about stuff, OR do a lap around the range and then shoot the target one last time!

I was rooting for Carolina, but didn't really care. On the other hand, I like the thought that at Manning Thanksgiving dinner next year, Peyton can wear his rings to the table and disrupt Eli's yearly smuggery about having two rings.

I truly believe that's how that family works.

The closest thing they had were crossbows and Qunari canons, so Isabela was eyeing the guns very, very sceptically.

Ringo Noyamano

Ringo had never fired a gun before. Actually, she'd never even thought about it. There weren't exactly easy to get ahold of back home, after all, and besides, what would she need one for?

So she looked a little bit anxious about this whole thing. Because that thing was loud.

Kathy Li

Yeah, the only guns Kathy had experience with were paint guns and Dante's stupid magic guns that didn't actually have bullets. So she was listening to Fred's safety lecture and demonstration so she knew how to not accidentally murder anyone with a shotgun.

Good lesson, overall. She preferred not killing anyone if she could help it.

Rey had never shot anything, but it all seemed pretty self-explanatory. This should be easy.
