Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Picnic-ing in January - still not the best idea ever! But there were tables and chairs set up in the sun, and a nice bonfire going, and plenty of warm food for everyone to encourage socializing for as long as possible.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Kathy pulled out her phone to send a quick reminder text to herself. "Meet anyone fun today? Have a chance to chat with Jalian or anything?"

She was tempted to draw out the first a in Jalian's name for a bit, but firmly pushed the impulse aside. This was what happened when she spent time with her little sister, see?

Raven wouldn't have any idea what to do with her doing that. She was used to being the bratty sister!

"A little. I haven't really had the chance to talk to her in a little while, so we caught up." Kathy was one of the few people who'd catch Raven's faint blush at that. "She offered to chase me around if I got bored."

"Oh really?" Kathy said, eyes alight with mischief. "You know, I do remember you complaining about being bored a bunch this last semester. Maybe you should take her up on that."

Lowering her voice she added, "It's usually a lot more fun when you let her catch you, just saying."

Kathy facepalmed. "I though I was supposed to be smart," she complained to the unforgiving winter sky.
