The class met on the Causeway, where the portal to the promised amusement park awaited them.

"A few rules before you run off," Ghanima said cheerfully. "No getting arrested, be back at the portal in four hours, and try not to get caught stealing candy from babies."

Note how the instruction was specifically not to get caught doing it. "And whatever you do, please don't burn the place down," Tahiri added, and if she looked a little bit uncomfortable it was because she had shoes on. "And have fun, of course. If any of you have trouble with large crowds, let us know, and we'll make sure you get somewhere quieter."

And that was about all that needed to be said. The rest was up to the class.

Hopefully everyone meets the height requirements, right?

Depending on which ride they chose, students might find themselves waiting in line for at least an hour. Putting up with the people in line with them might actually be a challenge.

For your less adrenaline-fueled, more competitive pursuits.

Or maybe just your need to wonder why anyone needs a teddy bear that big.

Actually win a rigged game WITHOUT getting caught.

In case anyone preferred their amusement in sugary form. Because chocolate, that's why.

This may be where those instructions about not getting arrested end up coming in.

No dinosaurs this time, though. Sorry, in case you were hoping for that.

Ghanima was wearing both her contacts and sunglasses to hide her distinctive blue-on-blue eyes, but she could easily be found wandering the park, looking for any students out of their element.

She so rarely had to wear Earth clothing to blend in any more that Tahiri felt a little bit odd in it, to tell the truth, but not so odd that she was visibly uncomfortable. Hard to focus on that, anyway, when she was busy keeping an eye on the students.

And being glad that she didn't have to worry about the "You must be this tall to ride" signs any more. Hush.

I actually checked to see how many hours I'd logged in Fallout 4 already. I may have underestimated by about 120. Oops.
