Nadia sighed. She was going to have to start enjoying her birthday just to get people to stop asking that.

"It reminds me of the fact that I don't actually know much about myself. It's probably not even my real birthday."

"Wull, I don't know about you not knowing yourself... I mean, you've known yourself all your life!"

She took a sip of her drink.

"If your parents came through that door right now and said that your name was not 'Nadia Santos', but actually 'Slut Bahnwalla'. You'd still be the same person. And they'd probably like that person. I know we all do."

"I guess so. And I'm trying not to care about that stuff any more. But it's hard; it'll take some time, I think."
