Shop Class: [3/13]

As the student enter into the classroom they'll see that it looks like a normal shop room, except for what appears to be some strangely decorated tools

Mac is sitting on the edge of his desk with a small grin on his face. "Since you guys should all be refreshed from your week off of classes, today I thought I'd give you the biggest challenge ever. Today you will build... a spice rack. When using the tools Ms. Gilmore-Danes made for us, please make sure you take the hat off the hammer first. It's only there to keep it warm. Apparently."

After spending much of the day before pretending to be a lobster, Nadia is still in a pretty silly mood.

The decorated tools? Set her off like nobody's business. Because hammers wearing hats are just WAY too cute for words.

It takes her some time before she can stop giggling long enough to actually get started on this "spice rack" project.

Nadia had very nearly regained her cool.

But Mac saying 'terribly amusing' made her lose it again.

Mac began to wonder if his mullet had suddenly grew back in.

Using all of her powers of concentration and imagining the stupidest, least funny thing she could think of, Nadia managed to stop giggling (though the amused smirk was possibly going to be a permanent addition to her expression). "Spice rack! Getting to work!" she called, and in an effort to keep from bursting into giggles all over again, pulled out her leatherman rather than using the glittery tools.

By the end of class she had a spice rack . . . of sorts . . . that probably more closely resembled a cup of spicey maracas.

She totally didn't pick up two of the spicey maracas and do a little dance with them, though. That would just have been silly.

"Nice job Santos," Mac commented, resisting the urge to pick up what looked like maracas and shake them.

He wouldn't do a dance anyway because of the leg. Really.

Nadia would offer to let Mac shake some of her spicey maracas if she knew he was resisting the urge to do so.

She doesn't know, though, so she doesn't. And she certainly doesn't throw in a little hip movement to go with the maraca dance she's not doing at the compliment.
