Creative Inspirations, Monday, Period One
With the portal-booking time largely taken up by being five, they might have had to scramble a bit to get one. If the Portalocity staff weren't unaccountably falling over themselves around Hannibal.
They had, however, opted for a fairly low-key week, given that their students had probably spent time as youngsters as well.
"Welcome." Hannibal nodded at them. "This week we'll be visiting Singapore; the establishment we'll be in is English-speaking, so no need to worry about that. I hope that none of you are allergic to cats; if so, please let us know."
//We'll come up with something else for you to do away from the cats if you are,// Jono agreed. //Puppies or something instead, perhaps?//
Well, it seemed like a good alternative, anyway.
//It's important to note that there are some rules, for the place we'll be headed,// he added. //No harassing the animals, no feeding them anything but the provided treats. No smuggling them out under your jacket, no matter how tempted you are to do so. That sort of thing.//
"You also may not pick them up, although they may choose to jump into your lap." Because cats. "While we're there, you may order whatever you like from the café. Relax, and enjoy, and see what it inspires you to."
And they waved the students forward.

Talk to the Teachers!
Re: Talk to the Teachers!
And then he found out that the cat's name was Emma, and he readjusted that thought in his head. 'With the sort of smug superiority that only an EMMA can possess.'
Back in the classroom, he mostly just set to work trying to pick some of the white cat hair off of his black t-shirt. It was creativity if you squinted.

His bony, bony lap.

He waved a hand around a little.
//And... No, that's about it. Lee, from time to time. Though her fashion sense isn't terribly different from my own, unless we're talking about team uniforms.//
Then she wasn't allowed to pick what Jono wore ever again, thank you.

"I've seen some of the pictures," he said. "Personally, I think none of you should ever be permitted to design your own clothing." Logan included.

He just sat in a comfortable chair with a cup of coffee and a small pile of treats. Any cats who came near would get one of those and a head-scritch and then left alone, which suited Hannibal and the cats just fine.
