School Auditorium: MSND Rehearsal (1-5 p.m. FST)

All members of the production got an email this morning telling them to report to the auditorium at 1 p.m. EST to rehearse acts I and II and the "extra" bits of the play. When they gather, they will find Dream sitting on the bare stage, looking rather impatient.

"You are here to rehearse the play. I believe you can manage that. If you are playing the Tooth Fairy,
Steve Austin, Jaime Sommers, Lobster, Drunken Pirate, Kickass Ninja or Chuck Norris, please report to the orchestra pit to discuss your roles with me. Otherwise, read through Acts I and II in their entirety."

That said, Dream moves to the orchestra pit and takes a seat. He may be waiting for the student directors to join him.

[OOC: I'll be in and out today -- please ping me in email or on AIM if you need me. Otherwise, this adventure is entirely Choose Your Own Crack. Cast list is here, whole play is here.]

Parker read a bit more of the site and said, "Someone has had way too much time to get obsessed with this play. Gorgeous artwork, and I agree about Oberon being a jerk. But are we supposed to be able to portray all this? I'm lucky if I can get through a line-reading of our scenes without cracking up. Deeper meaning may be out of reach."

"Parker, I'm playing a guy who says with a straight face - I assume, since he's wearing a donkey head -- that he's gonna munch your good dry oats. I lost deeper meaning about half an hour after that left turn at Albequerque."

Parker started chortling. "Yes, well, point. If I knew the deeper meaning, I might be worried for the children in the audience. Let's just get through it without killing ourselves, that's probably--" She paused. "Oh damn. I just did it again, didn't I?" She grinned wickedly at him, waiting for his reaction.

"There's gonna be children in the audience?" Pip said, looking over Parker and Xander's shoulders. "What are we looking at?"

"Somebody's obsesso-compulso website on the play." Xander pointed. "Leeeetle heavy on the grand theory, but plenty of pretty pictures, though."
