In her office/301

301--3rd period

You are redirected to CJ's officeS to move the furniture out into the hallway. Today we're learning cause and effect as relates to reciprocity. Last Friday no one came to class to do something as simple as wtch a movie. This week?

Hard Labor.

Once the furniture is out, the wall is coming down. Prepare to get dirty.

CJ's done just what Gil said and has come today in a pair of ratty old jeans and a particularly ugly Syracuse t-shirt.

And yeah...somehow she came up with a sledgehammer of her own.

[[This is in lieu of a speech class, and open to anyone with a sledgehammery type thing that wants to help destroy part of the school. CJ's office is in the humanities wing. Come on down.]]

Lana wanders down - after stopping by Forensics and seeing that her class was cancelled.

"Hey," she says to Shep. "Good news - no great news! This whole tasting nonsense? Parker says they should be able to reverse the spell that caused it by around lunchtime. I'll be able to eat again without issues and, well... *other things*," she says, blushing a little.

"Hey that's great! I know you've been pretty wigged about all that." He kisses her on the forehead because a.) in C.J.'s office and b.) spell hasn't been broken *yet*.

She gives a happy sigh and leans into him for a moment. "It's going to be so nice. We should have a nice dinner and then, well..." she grins up at him. "And please tell me you're not disappearing over Spring Break to parts unknown?"

He shrugged at that last part. "I don't know. I didn't realize break was coming up on us so suddenly. Is that next week?" He can't believe he can't keep track of when he doesn't have to drag his ass out of bed for classes.

She nods. "Yeah, my last class got cancelled, so I guess technically it's already started for me. Things have been so crazy busy we never really talked about it. I haven't made any real plans. I may go home for a day or so and Student Council is arranging a day trip that sounds fun, but I kind of wanted to wait and see what you were doing."

"Well than this," he gestured to the demolition is *my* last class. And I have no idea what I'm doing." He's kind of embarassed to be caught so flat footed. But sleeping for a few days is starting to sound more and more like a plan.

She smiles at him. "Well, I know I must sound totally sappy, but I'd be happy just to hang out here or wherever with you. Sleep in late, fritter the days away..."

Shep rolled his eyes theatrically at her sappiness. "Girls! Can't live with 'em..." He smiled at her. "But seriously, sap aside, if you want to go home, go. Don't change plans on account of me." He didn't want to get into how he'd give anything to have a home here on good old Terra Firma to go to, so he sure as hell didn't want to be the cause of someone not going to theirs. "I'll ... apparently ... be here when you get back."

She laughs. "I didn't make any plans. And if I do go "home" it would only be for a day or two and - I warn you now - I'd probably try to drag you along with me. Hot tub and pool?" she reminded him.

"Anyway... it's not really my home any more. And, well, something happened that makes me not so crazy about spending a lot of time there right at the moment. Something I should have talked to you about before, but, well... I thought it was going to work out differently and it would be a fun thing to share with you. Now..."

She looks unhappy for a moment, then clearly puts it away. "Well, I'll talk to you about it when there aren't so many people around and hopefully you'll forgive me for not sharing it with you before."
