Deception for Fun and Profit, Monday, Period 2

As each student (or anyone else for that matter) entered the classroom, Bond held up a box full of slips of paper for them to take one out of.

After greeting the class, Bond began. "Now you all got a taste of lying with your introductions," he said. "But that doesn't really get into why people lie. Truth to tell, there are any number of reasons why a person might lie, because they have an adgenda of some description, because they stand to again in some way from it, to spare another persons feelings, ore merely because they are complusive liars, but a usual reason for telling a lie is some sort of secret, good or bad, that they wish to keep hidden. So for today's exercise, you have all been given a secret, that not even I know, which you must endeavour to keep from the class, while trying to find out everyone else's.

"It's not as easy as it seems. Good luck."

Biff absolutely didn't belong in this class but he was showing up anyway! His secret love affair with a zombie (thanks for that, Bond) was something he'd never tell anyone! Really!

Well, hell. This was easier than Ada's ACTUAL parentage. This was gonna be easier than rigging a midway ring-toss.

Mara blinked a bit at her secret. Well then.

Daphne didn't even smile when she saw her secret. Most people assumed that about her back home, anyway.

Cosima actually did love certain children's television series,so this seemed like an easy enough secret to keep.

Jalian...couldn't figure out why an affair would be a secret. Or what sort of sinister a store clerk would be? She would do her best, but she was looking a bit dubious.

Kira was probably making things easier for her classmates by scribbling in a notebook, but she was nice like that.
