Ghanima had flung open all the classroom windows today, letting in as much fresh air as possible. The desks were gone, replaced with the large fluffy pillows that the students most likely knew to associate with a movie day. Today, however, they'd only be half-right.

"Hello, students," she said once everyone had arrived. "It sounds like you all followed my advice last week, so well done. If you need to leave today to visit the clinic or go back to bed and rest, please feel free to do so."

"Today, we'll be watching a movie, and then you'll grab some weapons and go outside to reenact it as you like. And yes, you may keep your swords."

Did Cosette care if the special effects were old and not as sophisticated? Not really, no. Movies in general were still enough of an amazing thing that they were all sophisticated to her, really. (She hadn't yet discovered the sheer extent of Syfy movies.)

She was more than happy to sit back, relax, and watch the film as the OCD thread suggested.

Oh, hey! A movie day? Mabel had this totally handled! An old-timey movie about gods and stuff? Great!

She made it through the guys in skirts throwing the woman and the baby into the sea, and the epic seagull footage was great! Heck, Mabel was just fine through all the boring talking gods stuff, right up until that Kraken went and got himself all released.

And then Mabel was sitting in shock and horror for a few moments before screaming and running from the room.

Mabel could handle zombies, dinosaurs, gnomes, shapeshifters, and evil trans-dimensional triangles. But show her some classical stop-motion animation?

Nope nope nope.
