Beach Fitness, Monday

Today, Clint had the students meet him in the Danger Shop, where he'd made a beach that was a little warmer, sunnier, and different looking than what Fandom could offer.

"Since you guys seem to be pretty good swimmers, I thought we'd take today to try some snorkeling. I have wetsuits if anyone wants one, but the water's pretty nice, so you really just need your very attractive mask." Clint showed them how to work the mask and tube and then waved them off towards the water. "You can enjoy the sights or just swim around, whatever works for you today. Just enjoy yourselves."

"Yeah, there's a lot of stuff out there about weddings," Clint said. "I didn't look too thoroughly, but my mind was spinning. I clearly don't go to enough weddings to pay attention to everything people have to put together."

"There are about six dozen options for every single category that we're supposed to figure out, and a solid half of those categories seem totally unnecessary," she sighed. "I vote that we skip anything that sounds stupid to plan."

"I like the sound of that," Clint said. "And, I don't know how you're feeling, but I don't think we need to make some things too extravagant, you know? This is about you and me saying 'I do' and then partying with our friends to make them all jealous that they're not happy like us." That was how Clint had always seen weddings, at least.

"We're totally on the same page," Kitty laughed. "As long as we have the when and the where and the dress, I think everything else is minor."

They were the anti-Derek there, really.

"And the... whatever you want me to wear. Hopefully not another dress," Clint said. "I mean, I have the hips for one but..."

"While I'm sure you'd look great, I will take any excuse to get you in a tux," Kitty admitted. "And I already promise you can take off anything uncomfortable as soon as pictures are done." Because she knew him.

"And I promise I'll stay decently covered until the reception is over and we're alone," Clint said with a smirk.

"I'm going to go ahead and say that might just be the best part of the day," Kitty smiled.

Somehow, Clint managed a serious face when he asked, "Should we save ourselves until then? So it's a more pure evening?"

"Sure, if we're eloping tomorrow," Kitty replied.

Clint laughed and leaned over to give Kitty a kiss. "It's so good that we're on the same page about things."

She kissed him back and asked, "Does that mean I get to make you choose where we have it because I'll probably agree with it?"

"Oh, that's probably a good question. We've got two universes to deal with," Clint said, thinking about it. "We could have it here in Fandom. Then everyone here would be able to come and it would make both our sides have to travel."

"We could. Though we do run the risk of something invading or turning seven," she pointed out.

Clint made a face and sighed. "Okay, that's a good point. We could have it in your world too, and I'll make Tony pay for everyone's portals as a wedding present." Making Tony spend money was always fun as far as Clint was concerned.

"We could probably have it at the mansion for free, if there aren't any gaping holes in it," Kitty said. There might be gaping holes in it. "Would people from your world be okay with that? Mine is full of mutants."

"They're gonna have to get used to it if we're going to be married," Clint said with a shrug. "I don't think anyone's going to have a problem with it though. And if they do, they can kiss my ass and just not come."

Kitty smiled, thinking that was a pretty good answer. "Any strong feelings about having it in your world? You know, we are great at managing all these places."

"It really is a miracle," Clint said, laughing. "I'm sure we could have it at the tower for free, although the 'gaping holes' thing is also a possibility, along with all of us maybe getting called away to deal with someone the Avengers have to smack down. But there could also be a mutant threat in your world so... everyone turning seven suddenly doesn't seem like such an awful possibility."

"If we're seven it's not legally binding," Kitty mused. "At least if there's some kind of attack in one of our worlds, there'll probably be enough superheroes there to handle it without disturbing the party?"

"That's true. We could ask people to be the emergency team if needed. I think we both have friends who aren't squishy emotional wedding types," Clint said. "We can reward them with booze or something after."

"Or use the booze to bribe the bad guys into taking that particular day off," Kitty considered.

"I can promise them some one-on-one fights once the honeymoon is over," Clint offered.

"Not with you, I hope," Kitty said. "Let's make it a goal to get through the first month of marriage without bad guy-induced bruising."

Clint made an uncomfortable face at that. "How about three weeks? A month might be stretching it."

"Three weeks with a concerted effort to go longer," Kitty negotiated.

"I'll try my hardest, I promise," Clint said, making a cross over his heart and everything.

"Then, deal," Kitty decided. "That was easy. Married life's gonna be a cinch."
