"I hope you guys all enjoyed Professor Dream's lecture on, well, dreams," said Jenny. "Lemme know what you think; I'll pass the feedback onto him. Today, you get to interpret someone else's dream. A few of you haven't handed journals in to me; you can still turn them in late, though."

Angel read over the journal. "Huh. Um. Well peacefulness, happiness, and light are reoccuring symbals." He looked at Jenny uncertainly, hoping she'd give him a hint if he was going in the right direction.

"Well sunlight would be death for me but I'm guessing that's not the case here," Angel said. "Love? Given the context, I could see that being the meaning."

"Platonic love, do you think, or romantic love?" Jenny smiled encouragingly. "Given the other symbolism that might exist."

"I'd say the first and last ones were platonic/familial," Angel said. "The middle one could be romantic though. Some people see walking in a sunny field as a romantic thing to do."

"So maybe interconnected relationships?" asked Jenny. "Some familial, some romantic. What do you think that would mean?"

"Rory, here's the dream for you to interpret."

"Um." Rory studied the paper. "I'm kind of getting a sense of responsibility. Like with the crying child, and the need to specify that there was no feeling of fear, in this one dream." She glanced up to see if she was anywhere near right.

Jenny nodded. "I think you're right," she said. "Do you think the child symbolizes someone in particular to the dreamer? You don't have to be specific, but maybe there's a particular relationship that comes across strongly?"

Professor Calender? I seem to have somehow lost 9 days between the 19th of February and the 1st of March. Did I miss anything of importance during that time?

"Hey, Hamlet. You kinda missed a few classes which since it was due to RL we'll handwave the heck out of." Jenny shrugged. "Heard you were a statue for a while. Your roomie sent out an e-mail. We've been working on dream interpretation, so if you've got a dream you remember, why don't you throw scribble it down and toss it in the late homework bin? And then through the mysteries of fudging, we'll have it interpreted during class today."
