Survive the Island, Thusday 3rd Period

Cara had notified her students to meet her down at the park, where she waited for them with several exercise mats, a portable music system that was playing relentlessly upbeat techno, and a grin that was best described as chipper. Or possibly vaguely manic. Her clothing, which was significantly brighter, revealing, and somehow less skin-tight than her leathers, allowed them to see the large bitemark on her forearm.

Someone had had a very unwelcome visitor in their apartment, earlier.

"Great, you're all here," she said, still grinning at them. "Now the best way to keep out of trouble is to keep away from trouble, and the best way to do that is to keep fit. So today we're going to go through a routine or two that are going to get you into shape and keep you feeling your best."

"So let's get to it."

On one hand, perky!Cara was kiiiind of terrifying.

On the other hand, she wasn't asking them to do anything awful, and they could all look ridiculous together. So, for the moment at least, Kira was just going to go along with this.

"Is this jazzercise?" Kathy whispered, trying not to laugh. "I think this might be jazzercise. That, or we're about to build a pyramid and practice sparkle fingers."

"We'll be more prepared if Fandom ever needs cheerleaders," Kira said. "Do you think we're going to pay for this next week?"

"So very, very much," Kathy said, trying not to snicker. "This is so not how she wants us to see her."

"What if we offer to pretend this never happened? We could be terribly ill over the weekend and forgot everything about today," Kira said. "It's not our fault gremlins are evil."
