Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 16: Quiz 2, Period 1, 03.01.06

[OOC: Same story as usual with quizzes: get it done by the next class. And, hey, the next class is a week and a half away. Slowplay yay. Oh, and no, I don't expect "Talk to Professor Tick" as an answer to #1. I personally think that should be Step 5. And I know how to spell "should." It has a "u." Shut up. Class Info Post.]

The Tick was at the front of the class holding some paper.

"Hello, class! If you'll look at the front of the room, you'll see your midterm an essay grades posted except not just yet in terms of the midterm grades. Very good work by most of you. Others amongst you are being hurt by spotty attendance. Please nip that problem in the bud, chums!"

"Anyway, today we're having a pop quiz. It hopefully won't take you the full period to get through, so you can have some time to yourselves heading into break."

"For those of you going away next week, I wish you safe passage and a good time! For those of you sticking around, I wish you a lack of invading monsters."

"And, Logan? I understand you're doing your makeup assignment tomorrow, correct? Have fun with that!"

"Okay, class, get to work!"

1. If you were planning on making a vigilante strike against the forces of evil, what would be the first two steps of your plan? Please assume this to be a general plan that can be used in a variety of situations.

2. Please describe how you would serve Justice when equipped with a team of any four of the following animals: a stickbug, a seahorse, a puffin, a puppy, a tiny elephant, a meerkat, a marmoset, and a giraffe.

3. Write a metaphor about the Camera of Justice.

EC. Answer #2 with 6 animals for 1 EC point. All 8 animals will earn you +2 EC.

First step: Find a group of people experienced in vigilante work and a good support team. Second, determine the situation that the forces of evil are engaged in and the best way that the vigilante team can be utilitzed to undermine the forces of evil while support coordinates things from behind-the-scenes. In other words, do they neutralize the enemy, the minions, or the base of operations first?

Any semblance of form to study group may not be exactly coincidental. Oops.

2. Could I just have four tiny elephants to stampede over Injustice? Though I think the puppy would be able to stop criminals simply with the force of its cuteness. And the stickbug would make criminals stare long enough that the police could catch them. Um. Giraffes?

3. The Camera of Justice is--

Janet could do better if she were able to write a metaphor about the Film Development of Justice. Oh, wait, Polaroids.

3. The Camera of Justice is a Polaroid, which slowly develops the picture and Justice is sometimes developed the same way. Because the court system moves slowly.

EC. Stickbug - Throw it at a criminal and hope to catch him in the eye. Seahorse - Might be useful if the criminal is underwater? Puffin - Can chase down criminals in arctic climates. Puppy - See above re cute. Also, guard puppy? Vladdie could fly in circles around them until they get dizzy and fall down. Tiny elephant - Could squirt them with water. Meerkat - Dress in a hula outfit and dance at the criminals? I've seen The Lion King one too many times, OMG. Marmoset - Bites criminals in the ankles until they stop. Giraffe - Gets the really tall criminals out of trees. Somehow, all of these combine into a multi-environment crimefighting animal team. Or something.
