School Auditorium: MSND rehearsal (4-7 PM FHT)

There are snacks and assorted beverages on a table to the side, and the house lights are up.

The stage lighting is still a little beyond Rory, so the simple overhead fluorescents will have to do for the day.

And by the door, there's a sign-in sheet.

Actors? Your stage awaits.

[If you comment before my OCD threads are up, I'll get Callisto to burninate you. OCD is up! Comment away! And here is a helpful link to the full text of the play, and here is the cast list, which will be a bit revised today, yes.]

"Oh." Parker regained her footing, and carefully asked, "Is there anything I should do? Or rather, not do? I didn't realize I was portraying a real person. I wouldn't want to be disrespectful of royalty." Especially if they would kick her ass for it.

"Her kind are long gone from this realm, almost forgotten," Dream reassured her. "And the advice I once heard another given on the part is this: 'remember that you play a queen, not a strumpet.' Be proud, be willful, make no excuses, and brook no insolence."

"Oh, that's easy. For me, anyway." Parker smiled widely. "Thank you, sir."

"I look forward to your performance."
