[Class the Last: The Final Job]

Welcome to the S.S. Ridiculous! A steampunk-inspired airship, hanging out over… well, hard to say, but that city down below looks fairly dystopic.

“Final time!” Parker sang out. She grinned and pointed at the deck, full of barrels, red crystals reflecting light beams, a very high rigging, and some loose ropes. “Time to escape!”

Eliot . . . looked resigned. "This is all Parker's idea. Just be glad there's no crocodiles."

A group of odd, clunking robots came marching out of one of the doors.

"Okay, those mighta been my idea," Eliot admitted with a faint smirk.

“I like them.” Parker nodded approvingly. “So yes, get off the ship, and there’s cake! … varieties of cake.”

Welcome to your Final. Think of it as practice for the Graduation ceremony.

"Well," Edward said, blinking. "That's... certainly something."

Swing on the rigging! Roll barrels into robots! Talk one of the robots into landing the ship? I dunno, the whole point is to figure it out creatively.

[ooc: robots are moddable. Let us know in the OOC if'n you want one played for you.]

Flick was going to...swing on the rigging. He didn't really want to fight and he wasn't a pilot so he'd just grab onto the rigging and swing like he was Tarzan or something.

"Having fun?" Parker called, taking photos.

Kaylin was going to spend a little time working out her frustrations over the stupid Ethics test by smashing a few robots. Then she was going to swing in the rigging and rig up some ropes to go scaling down over the side.

Kathy was having fun with this, causing a great deal of chaos without actually working to get off the ship. At one point, she was running across the swaying rigging with the as if it were solid ground and another, she was luring the robots through the laser maze and giggling as she watched them fail.

With maybe only a few minutes left in class, Kathy remembered the objective. "If we take out all the robots, can we keep the ship?"

Parker grinned wickedly. "And the laser array, yes!" Go ahead, hijack the airship!

Parker was so proud.

"Pffft!" Kathy kicked part of it over the edge. "The robots aren't all that delicate when they go rampaging through."

"Something to work on for next time," Parker mused, Evil Genius light in her eyes.

They're definitely not placing bets on which one of you all does what.

Admittedly, any lack of bet-taking was mostly because they already decided who would probably do what when they were planning the class in the first place.

While eating chocolate-drizzled popcorn. Nope. ... maybe.

And celebrate surviving this course!

Cake was good. Very good. And Kaylin needed the sugar rush.

"Happy? Did everything go like you hoped?" Parker was doing a post-class survey, maybe it showed.

Kaylin paused. "I'm not sure what I hoped," she admitted. "But I truly enjoyed the class if that counts."

"Definitely." Parker looked happy. "We're teaching another one this summer, if you want to just have fun outdoors doing stuff. Well, and learning some survival skills, probably."

"Really?" Kaylin's eyes lit up. "Oh, I'd like that! I never in my whole life thought I'd look forward to classes before I came here!"

Kathy--or, rather, Captain Kathy--was going to cut herself a very large slice of cake. And if anyone had a problem with that, she had just one word for them:

Booty.

"You get an A with your cake!" Parker told her. There, Kathy, isn't that cool?

"I do?" Kathy asked, beaming. "You don't have to...tote up grades or anything?"

"Pfftttt." Silly Kathy. "You were here every week, you participated, you didn't wreck the Danger Shop--" And honest concern, let's be real. "You escaped and took over the ship!" Thrilled! Parker was so thrilled. "A. Plus."

Now Kathy was bouncing a little in place, hand on her newly-acquired pirate's hat to make sure it didn't go anywhere. "Yes! Thank you, Ms. Parker! I'm gonna take every class of yours and Mr. Spencer's!"

Parker grinned at her and said, "Outdoor Adventure this summer! You won't be sorry! Ropes course! Windsurfing! Scuba diving!"

And some meditating in the woods or whatever with Eliot, if you needed a break.

Kathy did yoga on her own time. She wanted to fling herself off of something very tall.

"Is it cheating if I just run right across the ropes?" Like she'd done up in the rigging, giggling madly the whole way.

"You reeeeally should learn how to do it without running. For those times when there's no surface to run on," Parker said with only a little regret. "...which doesn't mean you can't do that right after, though."

Kathy pouted for the barest moment before nodding. Parker had a point. "I am in class to learn new skills, not just have fun with the ones I have," she agreed. "Like stealing a pirate airship!"

Parker says it's been a blast.

Everything explodes.
