Cara had her students meet her at the Onsen today.
"Normally I save this for the last week of classes," she said shortly. "But given the past few weeks, I figured we might as well move it up before the island decides to explode or something." Wasn't that a cheerful thought?
"In any case, your task today is to soak and relax. It may seem counter-intuitive as a survival tactic, but keeping yourself in a state of constant readiness takes a toll and sooner or later you will burn-out. You need to learn to recognise when you need to take a break, when you can take safely take one, and also how to effectively rest.
"So, into the tub. Get a suit from an attendant if you're worried about modesty."
