Victor shrugged. "I'm in. Not sure what you'll find, though."

No, he wasn't worried about the phrase "animal magnetism". No, he hadn't been fighting the urge to have his chin scratched. Nope, he was thinking about birds. Or Walter. Or Walter riding on a bird. or Bridge's hands and where he could-

"Well, it might be useful, for comparison purposes." Bridge admits. "Or to see if you have a new power that you just don't know about yet."

[ooc: he doesn't, does he? I have no idea, actually :)]

"Really? You can do that?"

[ooc: Actually, he does, according to the previews of an upcoming X-Men issue. Apparantly he can make his fingernails razor-sharp and use them as claws. it could just be an artist error, but hey, I'm not complaining.]

"Your aura is you, in energy form. And if it's energy, I can read it." Bridge says with a shrug.

[ooc: ooo, claws! but nothing magically-induced, right? s'up to you if you want Bridge to say anything about that, then.]

"Okay, go for it..."

[ooc: Actually, I have this emo-thing I'm gonna put him through regarding that, so not yet. However, Bridge can mention that he feels that something's changing/mutating/whatever in Vic's energy. ~~And that Vic thinks he's hot. But you didn't hear that from me.~~]

Bridge takes off his right glove again and scans Victor. Hmmm.

"No sign of any of the magical whatsit that everyone else has, dude," he says, putting the glove back on. "There might be something about your natural abilities that's changing, though. It's sorta vague, but I'd keep an eye out, maybe. ~~Also you totally think I'm hot, don't you?~~" He adds.

"My natural...you mean my powers?" Victor was a little unnerved by that posibility. He'd ehard of secondary mutations ebfore, and wondered if he was begining to get his.

~~Oh yes, Bridgey, I want to thow you to the table right now and have you for lunch! Heck, let's throw Walter into the mix and ahve a three-way buffet!~~

"Yup," Bridge says with a nod. "Does that sort of thing happen a lot where you're from?"

~~Well, in *that* case...~~

Walter was listening ~~to everything including the subtext, kinkeh~~ with interest. And couldn't help but be disturbed by the idea of Victor undergoing more changes, since they'd recently been discussing the problems that had come with his first changes.

"Yeah, it does. Sometimes mutants just get an extra power out of nowhere...or sometimes they lose their powers, too..." he said, remembering the fact that there were less than 200 mutants left in his world.

~~*Clears the table*~~

"Wow," Bridge says thoughtfully. "It's still kinda weird to think of Earth where mutants are, like..." he trails off, not wanting to use the word "common". Because even though from the sounds of it, there's more of them in Victor's universe than his own, he gets the sense that that's probably *not* the best word to use.

"Yeah, well, we're all from all over, right?" he said with a slightly nervous laugh. Then, he forced himself to smile and looked at Bridge. "Thanks for checking me out."

"Not a problem, dude." Bridge says, with a bit of a smirk. "And on that note? Gotta jet, too much homework to do."

"That's cool. I'll see ya later," he replied, smiling a little more genuinely this time. As much as he loved Walter...well, he knew that there'd always be a little place in his heart for Bridge.

Jealous? Walter? Must be the drugs.
