Biology (2nd Period) / Chemistry (4th Period) / Forensics (5th Period)

"Good morning, everyone. After you complete the midterms I am handing out right now, I'm going to tell you a bit about the field trip we will take Wednesday, March 22nd, to the Fandom Body Farm."

"The concept probably seems strange, to say the least. Who would willingly go to watch bodies rot? Scientists do, for many reasons: observing biological and chemical deterioration in action. Forensic scientists will conduct controlled experiments to compare how a crime scene's body compares to the scenes contained within the facility."

"First and foremost, these rules must be abided by:
-Wear old clothes and sturdy shoes.
-Do not touch anything.
-Walk only in designated areas.
-Practical jokes will be punished by detention.

I will dispense bottles of lemon juice after the trip. It will enable you to get the stench of decomp out of your clothing and off your skin."

For the remainder of the period, she discusses the history behind body farms, most notably William Bass's Body Farm.

Izzie sits down, takes a deep breath, and looks at the test. As her eyes skim over the problems she sighs with relief. Thank goodness she's been doing all that studying.

{Attempted/Passed with a comfortable amount of correct answers.}

Lilly passes, because her roommate is smart and awesome and takes good notes.
