How Not to Die, [Friday, 4th Period]
Cara's class were once again meeting in an ordinary classroom, and she looked much better for wear than last time.
"We were going to have a class on tracking today, but it would seem the deer have taken a turn for the violent, and it's catching if the radio is to be believed." Not that she was looking at anyone in the class in particular.
No, wait, she totally wasassuming Cassandra was there.
"Now, for those of you who have not had the joy of experiencing it, the island regularly goes through bouts of insanity, and it's entirely possible we're headed towards another," Cara stated blandly. "Of course it's equally likely that we're merely dealing with the results of the island having ill-advised dalliances with other landmasses while we were on break." Just let at mental image sink in a moment, kids.
"But we're not here to work out why the island's being crazy, or even if it's a bout of life-threatening crazy as opposed to merely dignity-threatening, that's likely to become clear on it's own soon enough. Instead you're going to work out potential strategies for dealing with the problem, play to your strengths."
She paused. "Brawling with other students on the street is not an option."
