Independent Study: Thursday - Period Three

Class was back in Jones' office today. No field trips scheduled. No interruptions from Dr. Disaster.

Just muffins, coffee and tea on her desk.

"Today should be short. I wish to hear on your progress of your research project. If you have anything tangible to show I would also happy to review it with you."

"Cassandra? What have you accomplished?"

Jones had been around long enough to recognize that type of body language.

And had been a teacher long enough to know she can call it out. It would be interesting to see Cassandra's reaction to it.
