Adulting 101- Monday- 4th period
Today the class was told to meet in the Home Ec room, so five points to your house if you can tell what you're doing today!
"Last week we did some shopping, so this week we're going to follow up on that. With cooking!" Kitty said, looking to see if anyone was excited about that. "So, there are actual cooking classes here, and I'm not going to get too in depth about it, but we do have to go there for one class. People make a big deal about not being able to cook, and I mean, there are some people who are just terrible, but for the most part, you're fine. The simple stuff isn't that hard, and while you can just throw something in the microwave or order out, cooking for yourself is cheaper, healthier, and you might even have fun with it. So I'm just throwing you to the wolves today. I want you to go through the cookbooks I have here, and make a meal from it. Anything you want, as long as it's not like 'put cheese on toast' or anything like that. We've got everything you should need, I think, so get to it, and if you need help with the oven or whatever, let me know."

She ended up with a sort of beef stir fry with vegetables, and mashed potatoes, which was a weird combination but hey.

Al dente totally meant the spaghetti still crunched a little in the middle right? At least she was just doing a vegetable sauce for it, so the undercooking shouldn't lead to more than just weird textures.

Hanna did make a pretty good attempt at cheesy popcorn balls, though. Mostly it was melted cheese on popcorn, but still, it was edible? Also, yummy.
