How Not to Die, [Friday, 4th Period]

If Cara was feeling any the worse for wear today so didn't show it as she stood in front of her students in the Danger Shop. Behind her were a number of doors.

"So far we've been looking at ways to increase your chances of surviving a fight," she began. "But with diplomacy and skilful negotiation you can avoid a fight before it ever begins." No she didn't sound the least bit sarcastic, that was all in your imaginations.

"So today you will go though one of these doors and negotiate a peaceful, diplomatic solution to the problem at hand."

She raised her eyebrows and nodded towards the doors. "Go on then."

Through each door is an utterly repellent individual making unreasonable demands and being far from polite about it. Being polite and making concessions results in more demands and more insults, while challenging them results in threats of violence*. It's almost like you've been set up to fail here...

*any resemblance to this scenario completely intentional. Feel free to get creative with what demands your character as to put up with

Cassandra lasted three minutes: two minutes of desperately trying to negotiate, one minute of threats, and then she snarled "DEAL. WITH. IT."

When that refused to take...

...well, was she going to fail this exercise if she punched one of them in the face? Let's try and find out.

Jalian walked in, listened to the demands, rolled her eyes, made a counter-demand, then just stood there with her arms crossed and let them rail at her.

Jalian could out-stubborn anyone.
