Angel was in front of the classroom again. He might've looked slightly intimidated.

"Okay," he said. "I've made a change to the schedule. Instead of talking about fundraising pyramids today, we'll be talking about it on Thursday with special guest speaker Doug Sanders, a - " Angel read off of a printout he'd brought with him " - interdimensionally renouned expert in self-actualizing your potential through synergistic multi-level exponential flow cooperatives."

Angel looked as though he had no idea what the hell that meant, but hoped it sounded impressive to the class. "Yeah. So. Anyway, Doug offered to waive his fee so long as he could have what he called 'an eager and hungry audience' so feel free to bring guests in on Thursday if you want."

Angel then gave everyone two handouts. "Today's class is on event planning. This one'll be real easy. Read through the handouts then let's talk as a group about what we think our campaigns would do to form fundraising events. What are our goals? How can we achieve them? You know, that. Oh, and - "

Angel pointed at Callisto. "How many days left until the election?"

"Yay, cookie," Callisto deadpanned. "So do those words this guy uses to describe himself actually mean anything?"

"I recognized 'your' and 'expert'," Angel said.

"I see," Callisto said. "You do have some idea of what he's going to be talking about right?"

"Fundraising pyramids," Angel said. He nodded confidently. "He seemed really into the subject."

"Well, I suppose that's a good thing."

"Yeah, 'cause I don't know anything about it," Angel admitted. "Plus there's the talking thing."

"It takes a brave man to admit when he's dumb," Callisto said. "And there's more ways to communicate than talking."

"I didn't say I was dumb, just that I didn't know the topic." Angel pouted. Then looked at her curiously. "What kinds of ways?"

Callisto totally hadn't been trying to get a pout out of him. Really. No matter how cute she thought it was. "Well, for starters there's gestures."

"Can I aim one in Parker's direction?"

"Depends on the kind of gesture."

"Something that tells her how much I appreciate her confidence and support in my teaching skills?"

"Right."

"She's being mean to me!"

"Poor baby," Callisto didn't start snickering. "What did the big mean Parkie say?"

"You know. Stuff."

"What kind of 'You know. Stuff'?"

"She's mocking my ability to teach."

"Oh noes!" Callisto clapped a hand to her cheek. "Maybe you should give her detention, can't have anyone mocking the teacher."

A slow grin spread across Angel's lips. "I could do that, couldn't I?"

"Yes, you could," Callisto reached across to try and thwap him. "Except for the part where she'd kill you afterwards."

"Oh. Right. And I promised you I wouldn't die."

"Uh-huh, and don't you forget it."

"Yes, ma'am," Angel said, dutifully.

"Good," Callisto grinned.
