Student Council [Friday, Lunchtime]

Considering how cold the weather had been recently, it seemed appropriate to have warm moddable foods and drinks set out for the students today. Zoe had a cup of cider for herself as she watched everyone come in.

"Good afternoon," she said, "and welcome back. I hope everyone had a restful break that wasn't filled with too much family drama. Those of you who have been in the council before know that the spring semester has far fewer events for us to plan. I don't have a specific goal for us to talk about, but I figured it would be good to get together again to talk and see if there's anything you all want to make sure gets done."

Or they could just talk to each other and enjoy free food. Zoe would be good with it either way.

Alana eyed the spread approvingly before she claimed a cup of chai and a muffin and curled into her seat.

"Should we do some kind of informal winter event?" she wondered. "Nothing big, just something with skiing and ice skating and that kind of stuff. Or a snowball fight."

"I like snowball fights," Mara offered. "Maybe teams divided by floors or something?" She grinned. "Then we can all stand around and roast marshmallows off of Johnny."

Sparkle would roast marshmallows off of Johnny any day of the week.

"Teams divided by floors would be kickass," Sparkle decided. "And we could, like, have hot chocolate or coffee or tea or something there while we're at it, for people who need a time out to thaw."

"Should we go all out with a bonfire?" Emma asked. "For the people who think Johnny roasted marshmallows are too kinky?"

She was not one of said hypothetical people.

It was so, so good that Zoe had well-practiced poker face skills. "That sounds like a good idea. I like the idea of pitting the floors against each other too, in the name of hopefully healthy competition."

"There should be a little trophy or something," Gwen said. "You know, to display in the fourth floor common room when we win."

It begins!

"I like that," Alana nodded. "Except for how the trophy will be on the third floor."

She couldn't resist.

"Fifth is totally going to come out on top," Minako sniffed. "We have Barry."

Yes, she was going to ask him to build snowball defenses. Minako was hyper, not stupid.

"Johnny might try to be the bonfire anyway," Minako pointed out impishly. "But it can't hurt to give him some competition."

"Oh, there's no try in this at all," Mara replied, grinning. "He'll do it."

"We'll just need to build a bonfire big enough to give him a challenge," Minako decided. "...Do we have any artists who can build a replica of the school?"

"Not that I'm advocating burning down the school!"

"What are you advocating?" Mara asked.

"Burning down the school in effigy," Sparkle suggested with a smirk from where he was sitting.

"That," Minako agreed, pointing at Sparkle. "...but mostly so Johnny wouldn't be the hottest thing on campus for all of ten seconds."

"Still debatable," Mara said, blushing slightly.
