BWI Portalocity Lounge | Saturday Morning
One of the very few perks of having a meteorologist for a mother was that Amy could almost always avoid weather-related flight delays by relying on her mom for information. That was usually very convenient, but today it meant that due to anticipated late morning storms in northern Texas, Amy had been forced to fly in at ass o'clock in the morning so that she wouldn't run the risk of missing the bus to school. So it looked like she was the first person to reach the Fandom High banner in the airport lounge, and while Amy had always had hopes of one day winning a race, this wasn't quite what she had had in mind.
Armed with an overstuffed duffel bag and her favorite pair of sweatpants (they were decorated with little cartoon strips of bacon!), Amy stifled a heavy yawn and parked herself in a distant corner of the lounge where she could wait for more people to show up.

He couldn't do this and not be an ass.
//Now, as far as I see it, you can stand there for as long as you please and keep barking like a kicked dog and maybe you'll last a little while before the police come and arrest you for waving a weapon around. Or you can get on the bloody bus, and you can come with me to the island we're going to, because you stand a much better chance at getting home from there than you've got from here, unless you've done business with Portalocity before. And if that's the case, my condolences.//

"You say there are answers on this island, then I will go," she added, "But if you are lying, I will hold you responsible."
She wasn't yet sure how to tackle a human who could speak like that - perhaps there was more strangeness about him - but she did, at least, have a pointy thing.

Cass, just... just.
She sheathed her sword. "I do this under a banner of momentary truce, nothing more."

But she did not. She had spoken her truce and that was that. Killing him would come later, if it was necessary.
Considering she was without other allies for the time being, it would be sensible to hope it would not be so.
She did, however, huff her complete and utter disgust out into the air outside the buss before boarding it and making her way to the back, from where she could have the best overview of its contents.
Re: The Trip to Fandom!
This group was going to be a fun one this year, wasn't it?
Ah, Fandom. Keep attracting the charming ones.
