The Art of Meditation and Kicking Ass [Thursday, December 4th, 2014, 2nd period]
Anakin'd had a bad feeling about things from the second he stepped foot on the island, which was why the Danger Shop was equipped with punching bags, sparring areas, and a shooting range. "If this is your first semester in Fandom," Anakin began, looking serious, "the stories that the others told you about some kind of weird...something...happening at the end of each semester are entirely true. I don't know what this particular version is going to look like, but I have a bad feeling about things and since you're in a class about kicking ass, I know that telling you to stay off of the front lines is an entirely pointless waste of my breath. So I want you to be prepared."
He gestured toward the equipment. "Use whatever weapon suits your skillset and practice like you'll have to use it this week. Keep your mind focused." His lips ghosted up into a slightly humorless smile. "Mind what you have learned," he recited. "Save you, it can."
He'd be walking around the room to offer suggestions on technique.

Beat stuff up!
Re: Beat stuff up!
Really, Alana never shut up. But taking the body to class, as she directed, at least lulled her into a feeling of control for the moment.
At Alana's insistent direction, he picked up a gun and set up for target practice. This, at least, was one activity they could agree on.
Tate was about as good a shot as Alana, though his movements lacked some of her fluidity due to the unfamiliar form.

Locked inside her head but still aware of what was going on, Alana tried to send a message with her eyes: Help me. Please. All she managed to get through before Tate throttled her back into silence was some odd-looking blinking.

He swiveled, braced himself and pulled off a sloppy, casual shot an inch or two from the bull's eye. "See, nothing to worry about."
In his head, Alana firmly insisted -- more or less correctly -- that she would have hit the damn bull's eye.

He groped Alana's memories for an actual name, his hesitance enough to let Alana break through for the tiniest second.
"Get him out," she said urgently -- or started to say, though Tate was able to turn it into a strangled coughing fit midway through.
Re: Beat stuff up!
He had no idea how to get whatever it was out, and he was kind of regretting giving it a weapon...
"Master Skywalker," he supplied evenly.
Re: Beat stuff up!
He wasn't doing a particularly good job of acting like Alana by this point. However, he didn't seem inclined to do anything with the gun beyond holding it by his side.
