Hey all! Welcome to Intro to Business.

Tonight, I'd like everyone to take a turn introducing themself to the rest of the class. Please include your name, where you're from and at least one interesting fact about yourself.

Evening.

I'm, uh, Han Solo. I'm from Corellia, originally, but right now I got no home port, I just live on my partner's ship. I'm tryin' to pick up enough to work as the front-man for our import-export business. People are a little nervous about dealin' with a wookiee, if you know what I mean. I understand about fifteen languages and speak about three.

And uh, I blew up the cooking class kitchen today. By accident.

I'm Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. I live with Xander in Sunnydale and I help Giles to run his store. I am very excited to be taking this class so that I can learn how to make many more people give me money.

I'm Kiki. I'm a witch-in-training, so according to tradition - my family's really old-fashioned - after I turned 13 I left home to live by myself in a completely unfamiliar town as the first stage of my training. My one real skill is flying, so I started a delivery service. Now I'm here for the next part of my training - the classes part - but I hope to restart my delivery service here, too. I figure at least someone here will have a use for a fast, reliable delivery girl to transport, um, things.

Oooookay. I'm Zero Hopeless-Savage, an' I'm from Flange City. Something interesting about me...hm. My boyfriend found out about my crush on him on national TV?

"I am curious. How far can you fly and how much can you carry?"

Kiki looks a little confused and a little flattered.

"Well, my flight is broom-based, so to speak, so I can fly as long as I've got enough energy to keep up the magic that holds my broom in the air. Falling asleep on a broomstick? Not really that fun. The magic is fueled by my own energy - so I can't carry something I couldn't lift with my own strength, and if I'm carrying something heavy, I can't fly as far or as fast; it's too tiring. Also more difficult to steer. As an estimate I could probably carry anything up to, oh, 30 or 40 pounds I guess, for a half day's flight without it being a problem."

I am from ancient city of Babylon. I serve in the Palace of Nebuchadrezzar under two Kings. Darius III and Alexander of Macedon. Now I assist madam_satine in running brothel in town.

Interesting fact: I am eunuch, which is job title as well as state of being. It mean one trusted enough to look after inner household, as guardian of home and family of nobleman.

Lily Evans, from England. Interesting fact? Oh dear - I've never really thought of myself as an interesting person... but I love to sing and play piano, I just couldn't spread that around my old school for fear of being shunned by those who hated all things muggle.
