The Art of Meditation and Kicking Ass [Thursday, October 23, 2014, 2nd period]

It had been a mistake to drink with Atton.

Suuuuuuch a mistake, especially on the night before class. Fortunately, the Force was with him and Anakin was teaching a semester on meditation, which was why when the class arrived, they'd find the Danger Shop with the lights dimmed and their teacher wrapped up in his robe staring silently at nothing.

"Sit," he finally managed. "Meditate. If you don't want a detention, you won't talk."

Ugh, hangovers were the worst.

Johnny sat cross-legged, meditating peacefully. And when the music started playing, he raised his hands with devil horns and started banging his head. Still at peace. Just a different kind of peace.

Alana had been twitchy about the meditating anyhow, so it wasn't like it was a hardship when she moved over to trying to shut up the stereos. She started by fumbling for control knobs; finding none, she gave into an impulse and just kicked one as hard as she could.

It worked.

For the rest of the class period, she'd be over here, kicking stereos. It was more soothing to her than meditation would have been, anyhow.

"Yeah. He strikes me of the type a guy who will turn green, grow ten feet and start smashing things," Barry said lowering his voice. "Think he'll yell at us if we talk to loud and don't meditate?"
