Were you a veteran Fandom resident? Did you finish getting your brain broken by your sibling and/or buddy? Did you just want to sit down to recover from the shuttle ride? If so, then there were plenty of tables and chairs set up across the lawn just waiting to be filled!

[This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Don't you have Police where you're from?" Kaylin asked curiously. "We call them Hawks. Or Swords or Wolves. The people who investigate crimes and stuff? I'm in training to be one. And sometimes..."

"My dad was a cop." And the was should probably say everything about why Gwen definitely did not want to talk about that.

And everything else she was saying was just really weird for someone who'd just gotten here.

"Yeah." Death trauma and more potential death trauma a few days ago and thinking about her dead dad was not really something Gwen was equipped to deal with right now. I'm gonna go over there."
