Bel had an unusual bunch of supplies, ranging from shiny baubles to screwdrivers, waiting for the students that morning. "Time for another field trip to Anakin's office," he said, grinning like the Minnesota State Bird. "Hopefully this will pay off tomorrow, because if you've never seen Anakin after being bit by a gremlin, well, you're in for a treat. So we're going to loosen any vents and scatter some shiny things around his office to try to lure some of the gremlins out to play and let nature run its course."

He also had really terrible roadside decaf coffee to replace Anakin's supply with. He wasn't involving the students in that because it was just too evil.

Well, now Cosette looked conflicted. So far most of this class had seemed fairly harmless, but trying to lure the gremlins to bite someone was not exactly something she was comfortable with.

She still didn't want to not do the assignment, but . . .

Anakin really needed to shimmer-proof his office, since Bel could just teleport in and unlock the door from the inside. "Get to work," Bel said, handing out tools and shinies.
