The announcements come quite early in the day, between the first and second periods.

"Just a quick note, kids. Blair Sandburg, you're the poor guy who gets to serve detention tommorow even though you haven't done anything wrong. Sorry, dude. Sucks, you know?"

Blair stared up at the speakers and grinned. Sure it was whole Saturday gone, but maybe he could study the subculture of delinquents and write a paper!
