Dance- Monday- 3rd period

"Heya, guys," Kitty greeted the students. "We're going to be doing real dancing, today, and we're not exactly starting off easy, because this week we're starting with hip hop. If you've turned on the TV at all you've probably seen it. This started off as a type of street dancing but now it's what you see the pop and R&B stars do onstage or in music videos, you'll see some of it if you ever go to a club. And it can be pretty tough. So we're going to stretch it out, and shake it out a little. You're going to want to be loose for this one."

"What you really want with this kind of dancing is to be loose," Kitty said. "It's going to be hard at first, but you want it all to end in smooth movements and if you can do it right, it'll look all cool and effortless and you can impress your friends with it. Okay, so we're going to start learning it piece by piece."

It was kind of hard to be nervous and loose at the same time, but Kira was certainly trying.

"All right, have we got that?" Kitty asked, going back to turn on the music. "Let's try to put it all together with the music then."
