Basic Cookery, Period One, Thursday
"Welcome to our final class!" Thor greeted once all the students had filed in. "I do hope you've learned something throughout our time together," Thor himself had certainly learned a lot about Midgard's somewhat primitive food-preparation methods in the process of coming up with these classes. Not that he knew all that much about Asgardian methods to start with. He wasn't really the cooking type.
"For our final task, we are going to make ice cream. This task is normally something that would take several hours, but as it happens I have a good friend who is very clever when it comes to machinery and enjoys a challenge when it is set before him." Hence why everyone had a Stark Industries branded ice cream maker in front of them today.
"There are several variations of the recipe for you to choose from, so pick whichever flavour appeals to you." Thor walked them through the process of creating the mixture on the stove-top. "Now, the instructions say to wait until it is chilled, but that will not be necessary. You may pour it directly into the ice cream machine." He waited until they had done so.
"Most of the rest of the class will involve a test of patience," he said, sounding slightly apologetic, because tests of patience were something he personally struggled with. "Every ten minutes or so, open the lid to the machine and stir your mixture. It should gradually become more difficult to do so as it freezes." Hopefully, by the end of it all, they'd have some ice cream. "And yes, the machines are yours to take with you. I do hope you get some use out of them througout the rest of the summer."

Talk to Thor!
