"This is our last class," Anakin said. "Today we're going to the capital of the Hapes Consortium, a planet, conveniently enough, called Hapes. Due to the light reflected off of the seven moons surrounding Hapes and the shimmering nebulae of the Transitory Mists, the inhabitants of Hapes never know true night. Most of the surface is untouched due to the Hapan love of beauty, with Hapans preferring to stay in cities such as Ta'a Chume'Dan, the capital city of Hapes, which is also where we're going."

He sipped from his cup of coffee. "Hapes was original discovered by pirates who found it useful to have a planet completely hidden in a nebula for a home base. They abducted beautiful women over the millennia, and then the pirates themselves were wiped out for, well, being pirates. The women left behind on the planet formed a matriarchy, led by the Queen Mother, and let me assure you that there has never been a Hapan Queen Mother that you have ever wanted to piss off. Oh, and the Hapan people are considered to be on the ridiculously beautiful side of things, male and female, so please don't stare too hard."

You have to dress in Hapan catsuits (sorry) and sneak past the ~~super hot~~ all-female palace guard and make your way to the throne room (Anakin's already talked to them so they won't shoot you), where you will then search among the hundreds of busts of the Queen Mothers throughout Hapan history until you find the one with a blue and gold Fandom flag on it. When you do, the guard will hand you the next clue.

Barry truly should have been able to get past the all-female palace guard without an incident.

Maybe the fact they were super-hot had something to do with it.

"I'm pretty sure making teenagers dress like this is illegal," Emma said, mostly to herself, as she got ready to sneak pasted the guards.

So, hey, being sneaky? Totally a skill Kira actually had. Plus, that outfit was pretty awesome, just saying.

The catsuits were ridiculous, but otherwise the task was easy. Kaylin was trained to be very observant, so it was easy to find the flag.

Well, technically, Chume'da meant "heir", but princess started with p, so tough.

In Pirates, you travel to the Hapan History Museum, where you will trade your catsuit in for traditional Hapan pirate costume and go through a simulation where you prey on a series of ships from inside the Transitory Mists. When you have robbed enough of them to have 100,000 Republic Credits, the museum worker will tell you where to find Anakin.

In Princess, you will go to a gym and be given a series of both dance moves and defensive kickboxing to memorize. After you have danced correctly for five minutes and put your instructor onto her back, you will be told where to find Anakin.

Having done the "Princess" route the previous week, Barry went with Pirate just in case being a princess meant dressing up and putting a dead chicken on your head.

And then Barry got caught up in the game and kept playing even though he won 100,000 republic credits. Even though the museum worker repeatedly told him where to go.

"Fuck off. I'm trying to level up here."

Emma felt drawn to the "Princess" option (for some unexplained reason), but while she did okay with the kickboxing, her grace left something to be desired.

Enough so that the dance instructor finally took pity on her and told her which ships in the pirate sim were carrying the most credits.

Kira was determined to not be at the end of the group this week, so she picked the Princess option. Weeks of dance class made the dance moves easier to memorize, and the kickboxing was actually pretty fun, so it didn't take long for her to get through the task and be on her way.

Hah! Princess!

This was fun and Kaylin actually stayed a little longer than necessary to learn a bit more of the kickboxing. She'd have to teach this to Teela and Tain when she got back!

Whoo, last time!

Oh, look at all the people already there. There went Emma's runner-up streak.

"You're seventh today," Anakin told her. "Tough go?"

Kira looked around when she arrived and let out an excited squeal. "Yay, I actually did it!"

Shhh, she'd sucked at this class all session, she was going to take a celebratory moment.

"Good work," Anakin said, beaming at her.

Kaylin came in flushed with happiness. "Can I do this class again?"

Matriarchal societies ftw?

"Dude. What was with the fucking skintight suits?" Barry complained as he crossed the finish line. "I felt like I was on display."

"You were," Anakin said, nodding. "It's Hapes. Checking people out is a planetary pastime."

"It's a whole fucking society based on objectification?" Barry asked shaking his head. "My buddy Jeremy would fit in well there."

Except for the part where Jeremy would probably be drooling all the time. That might be frowned on.

"They strive for physical perfection," Anakin said, nodding. "There aren't any ugly Hapans, at least not out in public."

Jessica was curious where a female clone of a guy would end up in this society. Probably toward the top if she kept things quiet like she was prone to do anyway.
