Again, an email was sent. And a note left on the classroom door, if you missed that. In which case, you had to go back to the First Floor Lobby, and the TV Room.

"Today is Rainy Day Make Your Own Fun Class." Kenzi was watching telenovelas, while considering Mario Kart. "Do you know how to do this? Some of you may be a little uptight." And you probably knew who you were. "So settle in, pick out a game, eat some of the popcorn," provided in a handy huge bowl, "and decide if there are any consequences to walking out of this class."

Raven was actually pretty fascinated by the Wii. This was the sort of tech that she expected to find in the future.

Well, maybe without the weird winking lowercase "i"s. And probably with rounder corners and made of chrome.

But still!

Bowling! Cecil could bowl. Even if it was a little different with a wand instead of a ball. But you could see the ball! That was kind of nifty; he tended to use an invisible ball back home.

Serena is really pissed at Fernando for something, who knows what. (How do you say 'scum' in Spanish?)

'El canalla'. What? Cecil was a good south-western boy!

"Oo, is this the one where he sleeps with the alien disguised as her twin sister?"

"I'm not sure. I know there's an alien in there somewhere, but I don't know if they're illegal or outer-space," Kenzi answered, handing over the popcorn bowl. "I just know that Julio is skulking outside. Never a good sign."

"He never means well," Cecil agreed, plopping down next to Kenzi and taking the popcorn. "He's awfully nice to look at, though."

Not as nice as Carlos, but nice.

"Too damn true," Kenzi sighed, propping her feet up on the couch. "Why are the cutest ones always such skeeses? Present company excluded."

Cecil gave her a grin for that one. "And ♥Carlos♥! He's nice."

"What's Carloooos studying in Night Vale, again? The general weirdness?" Kenzi threw some popcorn as Julio began sneaking into the house, hiding behind doors. "I want Annamaria to catch him at this and hit him with a frying pan, the way she took out the burglar a while ago."

"Just everything, I think," Cecil said, shrugging. "Science!" He munched a bit of popcorn. "I liked the trained scorpion."

"What was it trained to do?" Kenzi asked.

"Mostly she used it as a guard." Cecil waved at the TV. "But there's this episode I heard about where it plays...um. Violin, I think?"

Kenzi looked intrigued. "I wonder how long it would take to get a scorpion trained... I mean, I don't even try to train my cat."

"Well, duh." Cecil rolled his eyes. "Nobody trains cats; it's way too dangerous!"

Guys. Guys no. There was a karaoke machine in the rec room, and if nobody stopped him, Sparkle was going to spend the rest of today's class just belting out old show tunes, to hell with what anyone thought.

Because karaoke.

"Oh, she's gonna shimmy 'till her garters break! And all that jazz!"

And because Sparkle.

Last time Kenzi was in here wailing away it was with Sam during one of those Sing Your Feelings weeks. This was a lot more fun, even if she had to use pens as drumsticks.

Whoever you are, we need more popcorn.

Yes there is academic reward in this. No, it's up to you to figure it out.

Home after 4pm ET.

Kenzi would be so proud of anyone who decided to go back upstairs for a nap. Or just napped in the lounge.
