Office Hour

She's going over the preliminary draft so she can submit the paperwork to the office regarding the creation of a Peace Club. It's likely no one's worldview will disturb her zen today.

Gil stops by to say hello.

No, he doesn't really have a reason. He's just pacing around the hallway, thinking.

He hasn't seen CJ since the trip on Monday umm, kind of because it's been a busy week of being wailed by RL, so when he sees her door he thinks it would be nice to say hi.

He leans in her doorway, wondering if he should interrupt her. "Busy?"

He can't resist.

"You've had no thoughts about sex whatsoever?"

His expression is nothing but full-fledged dorky little boy, so CJ's reaction is what he's expecting.

"What I'm thinking, if you're still interested, is a unit after midterms and Spring Break. My students are going to be working on a project in pairs starting next week, studying various groups that are built on and originate from sex directly. What would be helpful, I think, is a presentation or activity for them of some sort, to open their eyes to the aspects of communication in their studies. Verbal or non-verbal.

For example, if one group was assigned to prostitutes, I want them to consider how prostitutes speak to each other, to clients, etc."

"I'll e-mail the list to you, once I get the groups solidified. I want to consult with my TA first, to make sure they're... appropriate. Some of my students are a little sensitive," he shrugs.

"But thank you CJ, that sounds wonderful. Perfect."

"I'm sure we will," he says with a smirk, looking at his watch. And I do not have a random stammering problem! Oh wait... yes I do.

"I have to run. I'll see you later."
