"Welcome to Ink & Holes." Yup, another e-mail went out that the class was meeting somewhere outside of the school grounds. "Everybody got those ID's we... ahem? Cool. Look around at the flash. Talk to the tattoo artists. I want you to walk out of here with at least some mehndi, henna or stick-on. Let's see some self-expression here. Or, if you want to pierce yourself, that's cool too." She looked around for Cecil and pointed to him. "Dude, they have animated tattoos!"

Okay, not quite the eldritch kind he was hoping for, but still.

"Look around, knock yourself out, we're getting ice cream afters."

Cecil thought about it for a second, then sighed. "Oh, I don't know. Raven said maybe get a temporary one now, and make it permanent when I get home? That might be a good idea."

"That sounds like a good plan to me," Kenzi admitted. "Then you can probably get it exactly how you want it in Night Vale. And however your older self got those ones, that'll work better from there, I'm guessing."
