"Hello Lunchtime friends!"

"Hello, Pippi!" Walter waved and motioned to her to take a seat. "What's new for Miss Longstocking today?"

"Well this morning I was woken up by Pip spouting a loud string of French that I should probably not ask my Papa what it all means... Apparently he was ~~entering his Ziggy Stardust phase~~ the target of a glitter related prank."

"You know, it seems like glitter's a popular thing these days," Victor commented. "Maybe we should get in on the action. or maybe start a new trend. After all, we havent done a prank in a while, right?"

"No no. We're trend setters we can't go with just glitter! We have to jazz it up a little!"

"Well, we've already done the golf cart thing, and I'm not sure if superballs are ready to come back yet." He shook his ehad as he tried to think. "I have to admit that I kinda suck at the whole coming-up-with-ideas thing. I'm more of a follower like that."

"After dumping a gallon of glitter on the substitute principal's head, I think I have had enough glitter-based pranks for now. We need to branch out. Something new, something fresh, something amazingly annoying."

"It's a small world after all...dangit!" He glared at Walter in a way that was more playful than actually mad. "You just had to mention the word annoying, didn't you?"

"Nadia had some thoughts about something called 'packing peanuts'... Are they tasty?"

"Packing peanuts are little peices of styrofoam. They're kinda like popcorn but bigger. Plus, you really don't want to eat them."

"We should fill a room with them or something... Do they expand?"

"I don't think so, but they do stick to your skin and hair really easily because of static electricity."

"Kinda like glitter..."

"The problem Nadia and I had when we talked about it before was where to obtain enough packing peanuts to make it a worthwhile prank. Do either of you have any ideas?"

"I see the issue not so much being 'getting enough' as 'having room to hide it until the time is right'. So perhaps something that can expand? Like baloons or sponges (http://ww2.williams-sonoma.com/cat/pip.cfm?pkey=xsrd0m1%7C15%7C0%7C%7C%7C%7C%7C%7Csponge&gids=h007&cmsrc=sch)?"

"The dorms are big enough that I think we could probably come up with a hiding place. But the sponge idea is a very interesting one. Very interesting. We should look into that further."

Walter suddenly had a mental image of the entire pool filled with expanded sponges and snickered.

Walter snickered and began whistling, "it's a small world" because misery loves company. He stopped after a few bars, though. "Something new. With dingbots preferably. Those are fun."

"Oh yeah...we were supposed to go see the dingbot lady yesterday, weren't we? Oops."

[ooc: Off to real lunch I go! Wheee!]

"It's alright. There were enough things going on that we were distracted. Maybe we can steal some time to do that today."

"Oh! I have to go into town to buy candy! Mind company to see the dingbot lady? I'd like to see those!"

"Not at all! We wanted to see what sort of pranksterbots we might be able to commission. I'm sure your imagination would be a big help."

Happy Pippi clapping occurs.

"We've already had Creature Languages Walter. And I have intro to Archaeology directly after lunch. How about after that?"

"Perfect"

"We should just go to Sparky Repairs (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/655085.html?view=25645293#t25645293) after Creature Languages.

[ooc: Yeah, I figured that out now. Ugh. Ah well, Walter must be in a time warp today.]

"Hello, lunchtime friend!" Victor greeted, saluting with a french free. "WE were just talking about you last night."

"Is it anything I should be concerned about?"

"No, just talking about the whole pirate versus ninja thing. Walter likes pirates and I used to side with ninjas, but after hanging out with you I think pirates are pretty cool, too."

"Huzzah! Annother convert!" Pippi cheered.

"Yes... It is a sad and ancient tale as to why Pirates and Ninjas don't get on... Which is a shame, because together? We'd be unstoppable!"

She sighed.

"Perhaps it is for the best."

"The divide is for the safety of the rest of the world," Walter agreed, knowing absolutely nothing of the pirate/ninja dynamic or history. But really, when you had them working together, it probably would be a dangerous thing.

Pippi nodded sagely.

"That is what the elders say."

"I think they should work together, too. I mean, it's jsut like the mutant/human conflict in my world. Just because they're different doesn't eman that thye aren't the same in so many ways."

"That's true. I mean, I remember chatting with Yuffi when we first got here about guys and hair gel... She was pretty cool and I think she's a ninja."

"You must be a mind reader. That is who I brought up as an example of a ninja that I like," Walter said, waving his fork for emphasis. "But she disappeared, which I guess ninjas are wont to do."

"Yes, that is true. Pirates tend to make more dramatic exits, but not always."
