Victor sat down, waving his hand to show that Walter can keep smoking. Walter's been so good about respecting him about it that he figured he could endure it for a little while.

"You know, for a chef who loves his chicken so much, he keeps serving it a lot," he said as put a patty between two slices of wheat bread.

Walter grinned at Victor and nodded. "I was thinking exactly that. I hope this isn't some Fandom oddity where we start thinking for each other. Cally and Anders seem to do it."

"What would we be, then? WalternVictor? VictornWalter? Doesn't have the same ring as CallnAnders. Maybe WaltVic?"

Walter grimaced and flicked a french free at Victor. "Let's try to keep our own identities, okay?"

"Okay, just Walter and Victor, then."

He took the flicked free and dipped it in ketchup before eating it. "So what are you doing this weekend? Besides Sunday when you rest." He gave Walter a look that indicated that the other boy didn't have a choice in that particular matter.

"No plans at the moment, but I haven't gotten in any trouble in weeks and it's starting to be a bit disappointing." He finished his cigarette and didn't light another. "Define rest."

"A day when yuo don't worry about Alfred or Hellsing or even me. A day where you spend time doing what you love because you know you deserve it. I mean, you've spent so much time serving others, doing what your bosses tell you to do. I jsut think that every once in a while you should spend some time being Walter Dornez, teenager. I mean, where else can you spend some time enjoying your youth but here?"

Walter shook his head in mute, but amused, disbelief at Victor. Sometimes his boyfriend surprised him.

"I do enjoy myself and I do things I enjoy every day." He stuck his tongue out at Victor. "And I swear you spend more time taking care of me than I do taking care of you."

Victor smirked and offered him a french free. "How? You're the one who's always getting me thoughtful gifts or doing something nice or teaching me things."
