Handling Your Powers, Tuesday

"Look, anyone can see that outside isn't right right now," Kaidan said. They were in the Danger Shop. There were cushions and mattresses and soft things. He came prepared, okay?

"So instead of class, I've got some options for you today. Either you stay in here and stay safe, at least for the hour, or you stay in here and you head out there--" he pointed at an entrance into a wooded valley on the other end of the room, "... to train together. Or you go out and do something, but in that case, you're going to bring at least one of your classmates with you or stick around. Okay?"

He took a breath. "Okay."

So, it seemed like the island was finally falling to pieces. It pleased Will to see that and he knew it'd please his superiors. A report would have to be written and sent off when he arrived back at his room. Hopefully then, he'd be sent reinforcements.

For now, he was going to sit deathly still and stare straight ahead. That was his way of relaxing now.

Celia actually made a beeline for one of the mattresses. And if 'meditating' looked a lot like 'falling asleep,' well -- between her growing anxiety about her own state of existence, and those of her friends, and spending the last few days glued to the library...could you really blame her?
