Literature- Wednesday- 2nd period

"All right, guys," Jess began at the start of class, "let's go on ahead and turn in your book reports. Last week we talked about how the meta for Much Ado About Nothing might be different if it was set today, and so we're going to watch an updating of that story.

"Also, next week is spring break, which feels weird when it seems like we might get to spring in like, June, but okay. On the way out, make sure to pick up your copy of the meta for The Scarlet Letter, so now you have something to read while you're out sunbathing. You're welcome."

Jim's mind had been a little elsewhere over the past few weeks but he'd managed to do okay on his book report. Not his best work but definitely not the worst either.

Rilla loved Shakespeare, so she'd done well with this book report, even if it wasn't to the level of nitpicky rambling-ness of Emma.

Cosette had done her best with the book report; she'd done a thorough job, and put a lot of thought into it, but while she did very well for the most part it was clear that a lot of the more risqué elements of the book still eluded her.
