Introduction to Archaeology,

There's several piles of journals at the front of the classroom.

"A different sort of public archaeology involves journals," Daniel explains to his class. "Some are obviously more academic than others.

Today, I'd like for you to look through the journals I've brought along and find an article you like. Then, explain to the class what it's about and why you chose that.

If you don't like any of the options here, then you can head to the library and see what they've got there."

I'm here for any questions.

"Really? Thank you," Molly said enthusiastically as she accepted the gift. "This is so cool, Pippi!" She giggled. "Funny too because last week in Paleontology we had to try to dig fossils out of rocks and I broke mine in half. This will be good practice for me." She gave Pippi a bright smile.
