Xander signed in. He totally had Hat Head, but he didn't look very unhappy about it.

Isabel signed in and looked curiously at Xander's hair.

Angela signed in and looked at Isabel looking at Xander's hat head.

Barbossa signed in and smirked at Angela watching Isabel looking at Xander.

He had a good idea who had caused the hat head.

Vala signed in and wondered what all the looking was about.

Krycek signed in and looked around, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Xander thinks he is very clever. It's probably the influence of having worn Hat-John on his head.

Ancient Greek art and Ancient Roman art are different mostly due to who came first, because the rest is petty much the same, as a result of the Romans' extreme and heinous copycat tendencies. Their statues, paintings, buildings, and yo, even their gods all got swiped from the Greeks or the Etruscans, or both. Whereas the Greeks were totally original and didn't borrow from the Egyptians, Phoenicians, Myceneans, or Assyrians, at all. Well, not much. Okay, some. But not as bad as the Romans, OMG.

Roman art is less exciting, too. If there was a way to take something kind of ~~crackass~~ wacky and sexy like a naked nymph turning into a tree well, sexy except for the whole thing where he was a complete psycho stalker, god or no god, the kind of guy who'd peek in your window at night and leave sketches on your pillow in the morning and dude, was so annoying that she was willing to turn into a shrub to get away from him, but anyway... and make it boring, it's a guaranteed bet that the Romans would find a way to do it.

Also their aqueducts leaked and their mothers smelled of elderberries.

Bridge turns in an essay comparing Egyptian and Greek art, and how the latter borrowed from the former.

Isabel turned in an essay comparing ancient Greek art to Renaissance art. She carefully explained how the Renaissance was a time of rediscovery of ancient classical texts and learning and their applications in the arts and sciences. Artists of the Renaissance began to have a renewed appreciation of the plastic arts—pagan idols and statuary—with nudity and expressions of human dignity. but more often then not, they still covered the naughty bits with fig leaves.

Angela turned in an essay ~~late~~ comparing Greek and Roman art, arguing that the former was much more original and advanced.

She might know her audience a little.

Lee turns in his midterm with a grin.

Rory turned in a paper comparing ancient Greek and Roman art, and had made good use of her thesaurus.

Show off.

Krycek turned in an essay comparing Byzantine art to Ancient Egyptian, drawing some relatively obscure parallels and differences.

"Professor Autolycus?" Lee says. "Hi... I've missed a lot of class in the past two weeks due to ~~omg RL OF DOOOOM~~ various circumstances both excusable and inexcusable...what kind of make up work would you like me to do?"

Autolycus looked up. "Well, Mr Adama, I believe that a short ~~handwavey~~ essay on the subjects you missed by next lecture should be sufficent make up work."

"And the deadline?" he asks.
