The Danger Shop had been set up as a archery range, and Jack went from student to student to pass out bows and arrows.

"So whatever was up last weekend, I got kick-ass aim out of it," she said. "Almost made it worth not having powers. Almost. Anyhow, so I was trying to see what I could do, and turned out the bow and arrow stuff's kind of fun. So that's what we're doing today."

She explained some of the basics of archery and then stepped to the side. "Go for it. And if you shoot anybody, even if it's an accident, that is definitely a detention."

Sparkle actually knew his way around a bow and arrow. He wasn't, like, a pro or anything, but Alec had taught him the basics and Barton's class had reinforced them, and he settled into shooting at the targets easily enough.

Okay, so for all the bitching he'd done about this class, he didn't actually hate this.
