Self-Expression- Monday- 4th period
Today the Danger Shop was done up like an art studio today, if a really, really large one with a lot of blank space on the walls.
"So there's this thing called art," Kitty began. "I think I probably don't have to explain that much to you guys. Art's probably one of the easiest ways to express yourself. That doesn't mean you have to be any good at it. Even if it's just splattering paint or marking up paper, whether you're going for skill or catharsis or just trying to make something pretty, you're still saying something with it.
"That's what you're doing today. Do something creative, whatever comes to mind. There's a ton ofmoddable art supplies, so if you want to go ahead and work on a painting or drawing, go ahead. If you want to sit there and doodle at a table, you can do that, and there's a sheet that'll even tell you what your doodles mean. Don't take it seriously, it's for fun. And if a canvas isn't enough space for you, do something to the walls. It's the Danger Shop. Have at it."

If she called abstract, that meant it didn't have to look like anything recognizable, right?

And the painting wasn't gonna be great. It was just gonna be some color and some stick figures and maybe a dog or two but he was gonna put his boyfriend-y heart into it.
And he'd totally pull that card if she didn't want to display it too.
Re: Art!
It wasn't her fault that her doodles starting turning more into lyrics, right? She hummed quietly to herself as she scribbled things down.

Re: Art!
Her doodles were done in colored pencils, and totally abstract; she was mostly concentrating on what she could possibly do later this afternoon, in the physical world.
Re: Art!
She viewed it as practice for the community college art course she'd start on the mainland in a few days.
