Advanced Criminal Justice, Monday, Period 3
Welcome back to the Danger Rooftop Shop, everyone. It was nighttime and there were computer-generated ninjas waiting patiently.
"If you're going to fight crime, you should know how to fight. Today we're going to get some baselines to see what you can do," Batman explained. "There are three groups of opponents. The white ninjas are for beginners, gray ninjas are intermediate, and black ninjas are expert. The black ninjas will blend into the darkness if you allow yourself to be distracted at all. If they're still too easy for you, I'll increase the number of enemies you have to fight."
"What I want you to do is fight the best you can without using tactics that would prove fatal, whether that's using a power with lethal force or throwing them off the roof carelessly," Batman explained. "By the end of class, we'll see exactly how good you are right now."

FIGHT NINJAS!
Beginner: White Ninja, hand to hand combat.
Intermediate: Gray Ninja, begins with nunchucks.
Expert: Black Ninja, begins with a katana blade.
Expert Plus: Multiple Black Ninjas, each with a katana.
The ninjas are fully moddable. Their weapons can be knocked/taken away if you're good enough. The goal is to find a ninja that gives you a good, intense workout. If you overshoot your abilities, you'll get your butt kicked and should step back. If you beat the ninjas easily, try again at a higher difficulty.
You're not going to learn much if it's too easy or too hard.
Re: FIGHT NINJAS!
They were giving him a run for his money when he was just using his wits and his fists. He started giving them a run for theirs once he brought his powers into it, stretching and shifting his arms to wind around them and let him deliver a bit of blunt-force trauma.
Once he was confident that he could handle what he was initially given, he opted to take on a few more gray ninja at once. Maybe he'd try the black ones closer to the end of class.
Re: FIGHT NINJAS!
Karina was terrible at fighting the white ninja, though she gave it a good deal of effort that... didn't get her very far. It was clear that she knew, vaguely, what she was supposed to be doing, but her execution was horrible.
She was, on the other hand, rather good at dodging.
By the end of class she was worn out and cranky. She'd learned a few things, painfully, but mostly she'd just remembered all the reasons she hated close range combat. Ugh.
Re: FIGHT NINJAS!
She went a few more rounds with the white ninja as a warm up, before moving on to gray. Which was just about right, with the level of Judo she'd learned in school, and the self-defense classes that she'd taken. Anything more than two gray ninjas, and she'd have to start resorting to improvised weaponry, or starting to throw some senshi-skills into the mix.
Re: FIGHT NINJAS!
As it turned out, Maddie had enough experience that trying the beginner ninjas wasn't that hard for her even without powers, so she tried the gray ones. She was holding her own okay, though she learned quickly that she didn't much like nunchucks.
