Anakin's class' arrival interrupted their teacher picking marshmallows out of his hood.

"Fandom is ridiculous," he declared. "I blame the weather machine from Sunday."

He stood up and passed out their final exam. "As always, I'm not grading you for your ethical choice, but rather your ability to explain why you chose what you did. You've been a fairly adequate group of students, and I'll be following your progress for the rest of your time here."

If that sounded faintly ominous, well, Anakin.

Question 1

You are in charge of picking children for your fancy, exclusive school. One shows up and shows exceptional promise but is five years older than every other candidate. Do you:

1) Reject him
2) Accept him with reservations that everyone talks about over his head
3) Accept him with no reservations

Question 2

Your daughter has found a new boyfriend! He's a drug smuggler with a ship car that seems to be on the verge of breaking down every thirty seconds. Do you:

1) Express your reservations about her choices in friends?
2) Ignore how completely inappropriate he is for her?
3) Send bounty hunters after him. If caught, express innocence for how he ended up encased in carbonite. HYPOTHETICALLY.

You have taken your friend's ship car and gotten into a massive space battle car accident and destroyed your father/guardian's Death Star garage door. On a scale of he won't notice to possibly exiled, how much trouble are you going to be in?

Flick's terrible mood hadn't abated so it was going to be interesting taking this final. He read over the first question and selected the third answer. He had some experience with fancy, exclusive schools. If people wanted to talk, they'd talk but he wouldn't give them a reason to.

Flick smirked at the question and shook his head. He wrote he'd probably kill me. And then exile me.

Too bad he wasn't joking.

Flick could have gone honest with the answer but he chose to write about the ethical dilemma of stealing food in the common room and how it was so hard to choose between someone's stolen pizza and stolen Chinese food.

It was a smartass answer but the real answer wasn't going to come out today.

This was one of those questions where actually having parents to set an example would;ve come in handy. If only there'd been someone to encase some of Emma's future wannabe boyfriends in carbonite.

One seemed like a reasonable option here, right?

Her foster parents probably hadn't even noticed she was gone yet, and she'd been here nearly six months.

Is this a school like FH with grades where people taking the same classes are roughly the same age? Or is it a trade school with a larger range of ages anyway? If the point is teaching and developing people in the same age range, probably 1, and it's a little weird that they're even applying to be a 22 year old high school senior or a 9 year old in day care. If that's not an issue, then 3.

If this is a hint that you have a bounty for me to collect, let's talk after class. If this is a real question, then 3, but the bounty hunter is me and I don't have to put him in carbonite. I just have to make it clear that if he does anything to hurt my little girl, his ship will have some more problems. Like exploding. This conversation may happen after he's been kept in a storage room for a day or two just to make it clear that I mean business.

I'll pay for it, so not a ton of trouble. Well, the father might have some issues with me having that kind of money at the ready and might be resentful of it, but I can live with that.

This weekend I was sent out to shoot some guy's helmet off as part of a test. The guy seemed weird but not dangerous or anything until I got the helmet off. Then he turned out to be a headless, murderous loon who I had to knock him out with mines. So as it turns out, I was prompted to egg him into a fight, but he was a dangerous element anyway, so it kind of sorted itself out.
