Gun Club: [2/19]

Marty approaches the doors to the shop classroom and sees a strange glowing led in front of the door. Mac had told him about the new voice interface and was told that he was all set up to use the classroom for gun club that day.

"Uh... hello?"

="Good Morning, Mr. Blank. How can I help you?" said a monotone voice.

"Yes, I'm here for the gun club meeting?" Marty said with a little hesitation in his voice.

"Yes, Mr. Blank. I have already set up the scenario as requested."

[OOC: The Scenario...

We will have all students going through a "maze" that you will have to fight your way through. Instead of just shooting at a target, you will be facing a robot adversary who will be shooting back at you.

When you sign-in, please make a note of how many opponents you want to fight (Three maximum) and whether you want them to be:

Easy kills: 1 shot
Intermediate Kills: 2 shots
Hard kills: 3 shots

You will have your choice of arms to pick from the Danger Shop.

If you get hit (your choice) by one of the robots, you will only get buzzed out of the game and the scenario is over.

After you make all your "kills" consider yourself out of the maze.]

She looks at the monitors with interest and is immediately repulsed that these children are shooting robots. What in the name of all things holy and shirtless had those sweet robots done to deserve death and derision? Woe.

She smiles disarmingly, however. "I would love to, if you don't mind."

The innerworkings of her kuron pathways tingle.

"Greetings, HAL," she replies coyly. "I am most impressed. Would you mind if I," and she runs her fingers around the glowing red light, "interfaced with you? I'd love to see how your systems work."

"Ah, but I am not human," she says sweetly. "May I have your permission? I promise not to bite."

She smirks but obliges by sticking three fingers into the port and only moderately scanning for more detail. She sighs, enraptured by the level of technology. "Well, well, well."

"He's pretty nifty, isn't he?" Mac asks. "Makes accessing the Danger Shop program much easier."

"So how dangerous can your Danger Shop get, Mac?" she asks, still exploring HAL's systems.

"Well it can get pretty dangerous," Mac said with a nod. "We always keep the safety locks on. Can't have anything happen to the students. I'd never forgive myself."

"Oh yes, it would be dreadful if anything terrible happened to the students," she agrees with a small smile. "Tell me - young Miss Carter is your aide, correct?"

"Sam? You bet. Great girl," Mac says a little awkwardly. Apparently he still hasn't gotten over the incident at the dance.

"Very... sweet," she replies.

Mac looks over Samantha and figures, why not? He's single now.

"So Samantha, are you doing anything Wednesdy night? I was thinking we could get together for dinner at that Chinese place in town."

This is all very sudden. "You mean... a date?" she says, her lips slowly curving into a smile.

"Sure," Mac says returning the smile. "What do you think?"

"Well, I think I'm very interested," she replies. She wonders privately if he'd be okay if she called him "sir."

"Pick you up around sevenish?" Mac asked wondering why everyone wanted to call him "sir"

"That sounds lovely," she says. "I don't exactly have a place of residence, would you mind picking me up at the front of the campus?"

Re: Sign-in:

"I'd be happy too," Mac says with a grin. "I'll see you then."

She mirrors his grin and then looks at HAL for a moment. "Lovely evening. See you around." A very slight blush colors her cheeks as she leaves.
